Class 9

We are Class 9

This term we are focusing on Life Under the Sea!

Summer medium term plan for Reception children.

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the world around us. Some of the children wrapped up in waterproof clothing and went outside to splish and splosh in a huge puddle! It was great fun! The children looked at their reflections and added paints to the water for creative play. They enjoyed jumping in the puddle and stamping up and down.

Puddle fun!

We made the most of the mild weather. We popped on our coats and enjoyed physical play and role play. We love exploring outside.
A normal busy Monday afternoon in the Unit, so much going on, so much to do!
The snow finally came to school, we watched from inside then we went outside to play. We went on a snow walk, it was very cold. We wrapped up well. We brought the snow inside where it was warmer. We played with it and watched it melt.

A huge welcome to St. Martin's School to new and existing parents.

Our new starters have been arriving daily, for the first time staying mornings only. What a pleasure to see such happy smiley children.

We have been making the most of the glorious weather spending lots of time in the outside classroom. There have been lots of activities on offer and we have also had daily Keyworker sessions to get to know the children better.

We now have all 41 Reception children with us! Wow, it's going to be busy.  We had a Roald Dahl day, celebrating what would have been his 100th birthday! We dressed up as characters, it was fun and a little confusing for some of us!

These pictures are a snapshot of just how busy we are!
