The attack of the
Terrifying Terns on Inner Farne! Everyone had to run the
gauntlet of having their head pecked by over-protective arctic
terns. These birds nest very close, or even on, the walkways
provided by The National Trust to keep visitors straying into
nesting areas! As you walk by their nests they rise up and have a go
at you! You need a hat or umbrella to protect you. Good fun, though!
