Christmas and the Salvation Army

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a visit from members of Scarborough's Salvation Army, who come to share with us wonderful Christmas carols and songs.  This year was no exception.  However, there was a new band member this year, complete with dapper waistcoat and appropriate head gear.

We love to hear about the instruments and listen to the wonderful carols and songs. They really put us in the right mood for our last day at School.

We know that the Salvation Army are really busy, particularly at Christmas time, and we feel so lucky when they come to play their jolly music and beautiful tunes at our School.

There was a special guest appearance from someone even younger than Mr. Clayton, someone who played 'Jinge Bells' so well and bravely in front of so many people.

Everyone was delighted and impressed.  So much puff in such a little girl!

Everyone had dressed up specially for our Christmas dinner as you can see but Mr. Duncan was amazed to find even two of Santa's Reindeer had enjoyed the performance!

Thank you, Salvation Army - please come again next Christmas!
