Making Stadiums

During the Autumn term class1 were learning about the Olympic Games and the structure of stadiums.

At the end of the term YTear 6 started to make there own Olympic stadiums in pairs. There were many different designs and styles and most of the stadiums turned out to be a success (however some were not as good).

They were all made out of card, art straws and glue etc. The whole class made a draft version but edited this to make there final copy. In addition class1 did a report on making their stadiums and saying what went right and what went wrong. Furthermore, many of the pupils went on to search the internet for better designs.

The whole class thoroughly enjoyed making the stadiums. Class1 went on to complete a number of other activities about Ancient Greece.
