Fourteenth Station: Jesus Is Laid In The Tomb by James and Laurence

How we drew the picture:

Firstly we tried practiced drawing Pre-Raphaelite pictures of Georgina Macdonald .Then we drew a practice draw of a real  copy ontoA4 paper, and then we combined them together and then put them on our real painting. Laurence drew the Pre-Raphaelite Stunner. James drew all of Jesus.

How we painted the picture:

We both helped each other do the sky. Laurence did the painting of the sky then James put water over the edges that the colour changed, so the colours blended in. To do the grass we used light green and on top we put dark green. It was hard to paint because it was small and we had to paint it in a certain direction.

How we painted the Pre-Raphaelite woman

We did the Pre-Raphaelite woman’s hair in a gingery brown colour, because the people who drew them licked that colour for stunners.

This is a picture of the 14th Station that is hanging in St. Saviour’s Church, Scarborough. We used ideas from this to help us.
