Tenth Station: Jesus is stripped of his clothes by Kane and Mark S

How we painted the picture

First we painted the sky we used white and kept putting more and more brilliant red and crimson for a blood affect. Then we painted the grass with all different types of green and mixed until we had the colour we wanted.

How I painted Elisabeth Siddal

I painted Elisabeth first. I painted her dress and I got a black, purple and blue and mixed it up. So I ended up with a dark blue and for dress and a light blue for the sleeves. I used the paint from Jesus and added some more red to the colours.

How I painted Jesus face

First I got a white and kept adding reds and browns (little bits of course) to get a pale skin colour for Jesus and then I did the hair with a mix of browns after the hair was dry I put on the crown of thorns that is my favourite bit because you get to mix a lot of colours together.
