On the eleventh of February 2004, we had our imitation of the Feast of the Passover. I arrived late due to me having a painkiller, because I had a big headache, and then the car braking down on my way to school.

I arrived late, and by the time I got into school, the feast had already begun. I quickly put my towel over my head and then put my strap around it, and ran into the hall bumping into the wall because I couldn’t see where I was going. I ran in sitting at the wrong table, and then being told that I was at the wrong table. I went over, and sat down listening to all the readings, and eating pitta bread, lamb, bitter herbs, haroseth.

I ate everything and then it was over. I went back to the classroom, bumping my nose on the door.
