I was one of the many people who were taking part in The Feast of the Passover.

There were lots of different parts to the service but I think I enjoyed the eating and drinking best of all.

Most of the food I enjoyed, but the Haroset and horseradish mixed together I wouldn’t dare try. You had to offer one that you had made to a loved one or friend; I gave mine to my friend Emma but she didn’t exactly enjoy it.

The first bit of food was the parsley dipped in salt water the salt water was meant to represent the tears of the slaves. Next was the unleavened bread to represent the haste in which the

Every so often we had a toast - 4 in the whole of the service. The grape juice was as I had expected it to taste - like wine without the bitter taste. Every time we drank we had to lean to the left to show that we weren’t slaves any more and that we could relax.

In part of the service we had to sing a weird song, called Dayeinu in Hebrew. Well, I thought it was weird.
