Dear Diary,

Today we had the Feast of the Passover it was really good fun we got to eat things like, haroseth (a mixture apples almonds and cinnamon), pitta bread and lamb. Me and Chloe had great fun because Chloe loved the grape juice and had 4 cups when everyone else had 3.

No one had ever tried some of these things before and Emma put too much horseradish on her lettuce and her tongue is still burning now.

We all had to dress up in dressing gowns and head dresses so we looked like Jews in the Passover meal

We had three toasts and only on those toasts were we allowed to drink which in a few cases disappointed some people.

At the end of the ceremony all of us had to shout NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM! And then we all had a blessing.

The things that we did are meant to be just like what Jesus and his followers did on the night befor he died. Most of these things are still carried out today by Jews at the Passover.
